NAS members and previous John J. Carty Award recipients, Paul R. Milgrom and Robert B. Wilson are the 2020 Nobel Laureates in Economic Sciences “for improvements to auction theory and inventions of new auction formats.” - Nobel Prize in Chemistry
NAS member, and previous NAS Award in Chemical Sciences recipient, Jennifer A. Doudna will share the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Emmanuelle Charpentier "for the development of a method for genome editing.
